Delta Design Systems places a high priority on planning every construction project before the first shovel touches the ground.
 Planning is fundamental to the execution of construction projects. The construction plan is the basis for developing the budget and the schedule. For the project to be completed on time and within budget, the project owner and the builder need to be in agreement on all aspects of the construction plan.
Delta Design Systems is skilled in the technical aspects of building construction, and also in managing the organizational relationships required to yield the project owner’s desired result. Based on what the owner wants to accomplish, Delta Design Systems generates a list of required activities, analyzes the potential costs of those activities, and then helps the owner choose among various alternatives. This Week
The steel erection is complete on the 29,700 square foot warehouse building addition for HyTech Spring and Machine on Lincoln Parkway in the Plainwell Industrial Park. Pouring of concrete will commence by the week of this week. The new addition will connect to the main building and tie into an existing building at the rear of the property. This addition will complete the long term goals of Delta Design Systems and the building owner to maximize the use of the property. Foundation work is complete on the 9,600 square foot storage building for McDonald's Towing in Kalamazoo. Steel erection will be started soon. The building shell is complete on a 12,000 square foot building for Jergens Piping Corporation in Mendon. Build outs and finishes have started. The new building will be used primarily for fabrication and warehousing. New building planning has increased in the last two weeks. Many business owners are taking advantage of lower material and labor costs due to the economic downturn. Now is the time to start the planning process while we are able to offer this lower pricing level.
